7/9/20 – In Today’s reading, Jesus has a discussion with another Rabbi or teacher – named Nicadimus, who acknowledges Jesus as a Rabbi sent by God. Jesus responds by telling Him that Israel needs more than just a good teacher but a new heart and new life all together. That, one must be “born again” to inherit a place in God’s kingdom. Nicodemus is understandably confused but what he doesn’t see is all that Jesus will reveal about Himself ultimately in his death and resurrection.
