The ministries for the Ladies of Grace are intended to nurture our faith and connect us as women who are increasingly growing in grace and truth through the study of God’s Word, prayer, small groups, and life-to-life discipleship. We’d love for you to join us!
Oftentimes it can feel as though God is silent as we call out to Him in prayer. Why are some prayers left unanswered? Why does God sometime answer “no” to our faithful cries to Him? Through Scriptural reflection, teaching, video insights, and group discussion, we’ll seek to understand God’s heart for us in prayer. We will explore the real challenges and heartaches of unanswered prayer.
This is a 3-week, in-person, summer, June, drop-in study series. It will Tuesday evenings at 6:30 pm on June 1, 8, & 15 or Wednesday mornings at 9:30 am on June 2, 9, & 16 at Grace.
Childcare is available for children aged 0-TK on Wednesday mornings; childcare pre-registration is required ($5/child/week).
Summer is a wonderful time to gather together for dinner with the Ladies of Grace. Summer Soirées are an opportunity to get to know other women in our church in an intimate home-setting. We’ll enjoy rich conversation, an intentional time of hearing form one another, and have some fun too. It’s a mystery as to who you’ll be dining with, but it promises to be a great evening.
Soirées will be at 6:30 pm in Newport Beach or Costa Mesa. Please sign up for only one Summer Soirée and join our waitlist if the date you want is full (spots often become available).
Abide is our largest Ladies’ Bible Study and is open to women of all ages and stages. We meet on Wednesdays from 9:15-11:30 am. Our time together includes fellowship, teaching, small group discussion & connection. This spring we are studying the Postures of God’s People in the Psalms.
Abide@Night is open to women of all ages and stages. We meet on Tuesday evenings from 6-8 pm. Our evenings include a time of fellowship, video teaching, along with group discussion & connection. This spring we are studying the Postures of God’s People in the Psalms.
Abide Virtual is new this year and open to women of all ages and stages who would like to participate virtually in Abide. Participants will be able to watch the Abide teaching video on their own time and have the option to participate in a ZOOM-based small group — either Wednesday mornings at 9:30am or Wednesday evenings at 7pm. Zoom Small Groups will include fellowship, prayer, discussion, connection, and more. This spring we are studying the Postures of God’s People in the Psalms.
Blessing, a ministry for moms of young children, is designed to support and strengthen marriages and families. Blessing meets Tuesdays from 9-11:15 am. Our mornings include a time of fellowship, a speaker, and small group discussion.
This summer we are offering Mom’s Morning Out on Tuesday and Friday mornings from 9am-12pm. This is childcare for infants and preschool-aged children, 0-TK. Our desire is to provide a little personal time for moms while your kids enjoy the love and care of our Midweek Childcare Team! Each morning is $15/child and we are unable to transfer or refund fees for any Mom’s Morning Out which you miss for any reason. Please fill out the registration form for each individual child below.
Helen Swan Scholarship
Helen Swan was a beloved member of the Grace community who left a legacy of loving people well, especially the outsider. She had a passion for studying God’s Word and connecting with other women who could challenge her to grow, so her family established a scholarship fund in her honor to ensure that finances are never prohibitive for someone to participate in women’s studies at Grace. Support the women of Grace by donating to the Helen Swan Scholarship Fund or request a scholarship!
Brunch & Retreat
Each fall we have either a women’s brunch or women’s retreat, both are designed for an intentional time of fellowship, connecting to how God is at work in some of the lives of our women, hearing from God’s Word, and worshipping together. Our Women’s Retreat for 2020 has been canceled due to the worldwide pandemic.
