Our ultimate prayer is that every family in our church would never stop growing up in Christ. Everything we do flows from this prayer!
Every family has unique challenges and needs, but there are aspects of life in this cultural moment that are especially pressing as we seek to follow Jesus and faithfully lead our families. We do not need to fear but we must be intentional and prayerful. These are 5 areas that we want to help families approach with greater clarity, confidence and hope:
- Rule of Life – A rule of life is a schedule & set of practices, habits and relational rhythms that help us create space in our busy life to grow in our discipleship to Jesus. Throughout church history followers of Jesus have had to contend with changing values, practices and norms. We want to regularly assess our everyday life and intentionally adjust it towards Christ.
- Scripture & Prayer
- Technology
- Sexuality
- Rites of Passage
We see the “home” as the most formative factor in discipleship to Jesus. Our role is to compliment that work.
