Costa Mesa is truly an incredible place to live, work, eat, play, and serve. We have an abundance of amazing parks, schools, restaurants, nonprofits, and churches. The best thing about Costa Mesa though, in my opinion, is the people. You, as part of the Trellis family in Costa Mesa have done some incredible things! Serving 30,000 families through food distributions last year, helping 500 people end their homelessness over the past several years, and over 100 projects accomplished during Love Costa Mesa day since 2018. I’m so excited to see what is going to happen this year during Love Costa Mesa Day.
Mark you calendar for Saturday May 15th for the 4th annual Love Costa Mesa Day! I can’t wait to see all of the projects, volunteers, and businesses involved in this year’s city-wide serve day. If you aren’t already connected, here are some ways that you can get involved in the 2021 Love Costa Mesa Day:
- Lead a project: Love Costa Mesa Day is built on projects. If you have an idea on how you and a team could bless the city, please let us know by suggesting a project here. Or if you’d like to lead a project but need help with ideas let us know here.
- Sponsor: While most of our projects are self-funded, there are other costs associated with the day. You can personally sponsor Love Costa Mesa Day or invite a business you work at or know to become a sponsor either financially or with gifts in kind. More information on sponsorship here.
- Volunteer: We already have several projects live on lovecostamesa.org.
- Sign up early to secure a spot on your favorite project.
This day is so special because we get to see the whole community come together. While we know that you are doing great things all year long, it’s so powerful to see everything happening all at once. We always say that “we are better together” and Love Costa Mesa Day is just that, us all together working better for the community. I hope you will join us in whatever way you can.
