*DETAILS BELOW*
LOGISTICS:
Kids will sing on Sunday December 15th – We will sing at the END of 1st service and the BEGINNING of 2nd service. We would love to have as many as kids possible at both performances, which means we would need your child to be arrive about 9:30 and stay until 11ish (in addition to whichever service you attend). I’ll have some snacks for between services.
Check-in your kids like normal at the booth upon arrival – we are going to try to assign families to either red or green group so that you know which side of the sanctuary to sit so you can see your child(ren). (We’ll see how this goes – but I want to try to ensure kids don’t end up out of the view of their parents).
SPECIAL ROLES: UPDATE: Special singers have been selected and are practicing! Parents, please see separate email from Joy.
Special Singers: Please let Joy know if your child is interested in being a special singer (a small group of kids who will sing a special part on one song). We will have a separate practice Special Singers on 11/24/24, right after the 10:30 service. If you child want to be a Special Singer but can’t make that practice – please let Joy know, we can arrange something else.
SONGS:

We will practice the song and motions at church, but we love when the kids practice at home too!

This would be sung at a bit of a faster pace than in the video. Special Singers would sing the verses, all kids sing the chorus.
Oh Come All Ye Faithful:
We will just sing the “Oh come let us adore him” refrain.
