‘Serve Days’ provide our church family the opportunity to come together on the 4th weekend of each month to share the love and compassion of Christ within our local community in tangible and practical ways. Our ‘Serve Day’ ministries include:
This transitional housing program is for women and their children who are dealing with a variety of problems such as drug abuse, domestic abuse, poor health and poor education. This is the only program in Orange County to help these women become self sufficient through counseling and education opportunities. On the 4th Saturday of each month, we have the opportunity to take, serve and eat dinner with the residents and play with their children as a way of establishing relationships that enable us to share the love and hope of Christ on an ongoing basis.

The Second Harvest Food Bank currently serves 390 member charities that reach the hungry, including church pantries, shelters, senior centers, rehabilitation centers, homes for abused women and children, as well as many other emergency assistance organizations. Our service to this ministry consists of gleaning local fields for fruit and vegetables that are then distributed by Second Harvest to these charities. Families and children of all ages are invited to participate in this ministry.

The Orange County Food Bank provides food for thousands of hungry people within our community. We have the opportunity to serve by assembling food boxes that are then distributed by the food bank to senior citizens and the poor. Families and children of all ages are invited to participate in this ministry.

The mission of HFI is to motivate, equip and mobilize the global Christian community to respond in times of crisis and chronic need, to alleviate suffering and bring hope through compassionate action. With that goal in mind, various training courses are made available throughout the year in our area to equip God’s people to provide the physical, emotional and spiritual relief needed in the midst of a local disaster.
