Adult Bible Study: 

A 7 week study based on the best of Navigator’s Growing Strong in God’s Family. This is an adult co-ed group that will begin Wednesday June 1st, at 7pm at the home of Ron and Catherine Pierce. For more information click here.

Women's Book Study:

Please join us as we gather this summer to study a book by Martin Lloyd Jones, entitled Spiritual Depression. This study is intended to point you to God and give you hope and encouragement. We hope you will find this study to be uplifting and clarifying. We will meet on THURSDAY mornings 9:30 - 11am beginning on JUNE 2. Cost of the class is $13. To register, click here.

Mom's Morning Out will be offered each Thursday throughout the school year. Drop off time is 9:30 with a pick up time of 12:15. Cost is $12.00 for one child, $20.00 for two or more. Birth Choice is looking for volunteers to work with clients, run parenting classes, and serve as male mentors for the "Dad's Project" program. They also have a mobile unit and are looking for volunteers to travel throughout Orange County as they bring services to the streets. The volunteer training is a 3 day intensive course, running May 17th through May 19th from 10am to 5pm. The Prayer & Counseling Room, which is located on the north side of the Sanctuary, is available after the service each Sunday for people to pray with you. The Women's Retreat was held at Aldersgate Retreat center in Pacific Palisades last weekend with the theme 'Ashes to Beauty.' And beauty it was. The location was a unique old house which has been used as a retreat center for a century, with a chapel on the small property. It was warm and charming with traditional wooden pues, a fire place, and barn doors opening up the space completely. Every detail was thoughtfully considered by the retreat committee:  Lara Mellema, Rosie Smart, Kim Powell, Leslie Casserly, Jackie Flora, Carrie Paschall, Susan Neidwick, and Hailey Dawson - THANK YOU! We were welcomed with fresh herbal water, cookies and smiling faces.
