"OVERFLOW" is the new name/philosophy of our youth group at Grace. There is an intentional biblical meaning behind the name, taken from Psalm 23:5 - My cup overflows with blessings. Our hope is that the time spent at church, playing games and taking trips together will be a time of filling up the hearts of our students with God's love and grace. We so desire to see it overflow into every aspect of their lives! DeepEnd is the name of our Wednesday night meetings where we will be diving deeper into the concepts we learn about on Sundays.
You may have seen some of the awesome hats around with the new Overflow logo on it, which can be purchased for $10 to support the ministry. We are also selling awesome travel coffee mugs and stainless steel water bottles with the Overflow logo for $15.
There’s a lot of energy within our youth program and I have the privilege of leading the rowdiest group of them all, the Junior High students. As their pastor, my role is to guide the ministry in a way that builds a solid biblical foundation into the student’s lives before they enter high school and are faced with many difficult life choices. Each week I work to prepare lessons that teach these truths and seek to present them in a way that is interesting and relevant.
