My Responsibilities @ Grace:

Most of my responsibilities focus on five areas:

• The oversight and leadership of our staff and leadership teams
• Discipleship and pastoral counseling
• Helping to shape and protect our philosophy of ministry with strategic planning and direction.
• The oversight and management of our church operations
• Serving as an elder of the church

My Passion in Ministry:

I'm passionate about the idea that our church community is a family faithfully committing ourselves to one another as authentic followers of Christ who love one another well and seek to treasure and serve the Lord.

I'm also passionate about fostering a leadership culture within our staff that values faithfulness over success, organic ministry over formulaic ministry, and a posture of leadership that is driven by a dependence on God rather than man-centered ambition.

A bit more about me...

My family and friends are my "soul meat and sweetest drink" and walking through life with them is an amazing privilege. Spending Monday mornings at Crystal Cove is my sabbath...Good reading inspires me and helps keep me going...I cherish my simple Saturdays working in my yard...Going 'slow' in my VW bus helps make sure I'll never win the 'rat-race'.
