LEADERSHIP

My Responsibilities @ Grace:

There’s a lot of energy within our youth program and I have the privilege of leading the rowdiest group of them all, the Junior High students. As their pastor, my role is to guide the ministry in a way that builds a solid biblical foundation into the student’s lives before they enter high school and are faced with many difficult life choices. Each week I work to prepare lessons that teach these truths and seek to present them in a way that is interesting and relevant. One of my favorite roles is to lead and teach through personal relationships with the students.

My Passions in Ministry:

My passion is to lead the students to understand their true identity which is anchored in the person and work of Christ. I get so excited when the students begin to grasp what a personal relationship with Christ really looks like. I’m also passionate about building a family atmosphere within the Junior High department by encouraging and creating opportunities for the adult leaders and the students to develop relationships with each other.

A little more about me:

I remember dressing up as a pastor for career day when I was in kindergarten and since that day I believe the Lord has been shaping my life in preparation for youth ministry. When not working at Grace, I enjoy the other half of my bi-vocation, my real estate business, which enables me to focus on my passion for ministry. Though my family is scattered throughout Orange County and Riverside, I love to spend as much time as I can with each of them, which is a priority to me.
