Ashes To Beauty - Making Space To See God's Work In Our Hearts
Isaiah 61:3 “…and provide for those who grieve in Zion - to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of gladness instead of mourning, and a garment of praises instead of a spirit of despair. They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the LORD for the display of his splendor.”

ELIZABETH BOOCKS
Elizabeth considers it a privilege to walk with fellow believers as they grow in freedom and deeper dependence on the Lord. She was first introduced to Soul Care in the fall of 2005, when she attended a 2-day workshop led by John and Patti Cepin of Journey Companions Ministries (JCM). Elizabeth was blessed and challenged by the workshop and realized that Soul Care was a natural fit for her gifts. She became part of the JCM team in Orange County, and spent the next two years being trained and discipled by the Cepins and their ministry associate, Susie Shaw. She attends Rock Harbor church in Costa Mesa, and is excited to serve with Alpha, a Bible study for seekers and unbelievers. Elizabeth received a B.A in English Literature and Secondary Education from West Virginia Wesleyan and has worked as a writer, editor, and web developer for mission agencies in Raleigh, NC and La Mirada, CA. She lives in Costa Mesa and spends her days offering soul care, planning retreats, and doing web development. Elizabeth enjoys spending time with friends, reading, being outside, and studying photography.
