PURE HOPE PARENTING EVENT

Life in our sexualized culture is fraught with temptations and destructive messages.  In this environment, every one of us needs to be encouraged and equipped with biblical understanding and practical tools to pursue purity and lead others in that pursuit.

Porn, Purity, and God's Will for Your Life
We live in a pornified age.  1 our of every 8 websites is pornographic, and roughly 80% of teens are exposed to Internet porn before age 18.  This reality is having the effect of normalizing even violent porn as "just another activity" for teens and young adults, and the  physical, emotional, relational, and spiritual harms of this are devastating.

That's the bad news.  The good news is that God has designed you for a life of purpose and purity, and God's Word--the Bible--gives us real answers on how to live that life, even in a culture as sexualized as ours.  Join us Sunday afternoon for teaching, Q & A, and group discussion to help us understand the deception of porn and to see why God is calling us to so much more.

On Sunday, March 18 at 4pm, Grace will be hosting a Pure Hope parenting event.  Pure Hope is a national organization dedicated to providing Christian solutions in a sexualized culture (see www.purehope.net).  This event is perfect for parents and grandparents who want to understand the specific challenges our children face in today’s sexualized and technology-driven culture and who want practical tools for shepherding our children in the area of sexual purity.

At 4pm, Dan Martin will lead a conversation with parents and grandparents in the sanctuary.  At the same time, Noel Bouche will lead a conversation with our High School and Junior High students in the Overflow building.
