Men's Study

Men of Grace Tuesday Morning Bible Study

Cost:  FREE

The Men’s Bible Study meets at the church on Tuesday mornings.  Coffee and casual discussion starts at 6:50 a.m., followed by about 30 minutes of bible teaching, and 15-20 minutes of small table discussions.  The study wraps up at around 8a.m., and is attended by approximately 60 men of all ages.  The study is a relaxed, informal event, with a significant aspect geared towards fellowship and networking before, during and after the teaching.

 

The purpose of the study is to equip and encourage men to become “men of God” – men who follow Christ personally, who lead their families spiritually, who serve God using their gifts and abilities, and who faithfully represent Christ out in the business world. We also place an emphasis on providing a forum for men to meet and make friends with other men who are also on this journey to become men of God.

 

This spring we will be studying the book of Acts. Acts is an exciting book that records the founding and growth of the early church. The example of the early church believers has great application to us men today. The challenges they faced and overcame are both encouraging and motivating.

 

Our main teacher will be Brian Christie, an attorney who lives and practices in Newport Beach. David Gundlach, our teaching pastor, will also participate in the teaching.

 

The study will continue every Tuesday morning until June 29, 2010, at which time we will take a break for the summer, and resume in September.
