This week, we are spending time recalling moments when God has worked in our lives. We are studying the second lesson in our series from the book of Exodus, a lesson that's looking at how the Israelites made it a point to remember God’s hand in delivering them from slavery in Egypt. They praised God because of this intervention in their lives. This week I want to challenged all of us to follow that pattern and praise God for how he has worked in their lives, too.
As you go through the week, I’d encourage you to keep this theme alive in your life by looking for the opportunity to have a good family discussion, do this weeks C2A, memorize this weeks VoftheW, and/or follow along with us with this weeks Bible reading. Don't feel like you need to do everything listed below, but here are a few ideas tools you could use this week to grow your relationship with God. Have fun
FAMILY DISCUSSION QUESTIONS:
Sometime this week, as you go throughout your routine, consider taking time to ask these or similar questions to generate some discussion with your family:
CALL TO ACTION (C2A):
Find a quiet place this week where you can be alone for a few minutes, & make a list of times when God has intervened or worked in your life. Once you’ve created your list, think about how it feels to see all the times God has been present in your life and how this can encourage you in the future.
VERSE OF THE WEEK (VoftheW):
"And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them" (Romans 8:28).
WEEKLY BIBLE READING:
This week we'll be reading through Exodus 13 - 19. I am encouraged to see many of you following along with us as we spend the next two years reading through much of the Bible.
As always, let me know if there are specific ways I can pray for your family or for your teenager. Have a blessed week!
