Hello dear friends and family,
Rachel and I are home now, and have hearts overflowing with gratitude for your outpouring of love, donations towards the hygiene kits and PRAYER for us as we journeyed to love on the precious people of the Dominican Republic. Through your support, each day the Lord met and affirmed us with His vision, strength, hope and encouragement for His Kingdom and beloved children.

"The profound truth that one individual’s “yes” to Christ's calling can bless and bring truth, hope, healing and transformation to those in dire need of Jesus. We found this to be true with the founder of Crossroads Ministry , Jana. Her faithful and persistent work over the past 20 years allowed us to enter into devastated villages, hospitals, dumps and the hearts & souls of these cherished people.

What a priviledge this was for us! They allowed us into their most intimate and broken places, welcoming the hope & encouragement of Jesus Christ. The Lord “bottled up many tears” of joy and sorrow as we witnessed first hand that He is “near to the brokenhearted.” Our hearts were eternally stretched and transformed as we tasted, loved, prayed with, felt, smelled, touched, served, encouraged, cried with, laughed and embraced those made in our Creator’s image."

Our time together in the D.R. opened our hearts wide, revealing Christ's desire to use and empower us with His Spirit in our daily mission fields. He has called each of us, "for such a time as this". Our daily 'yes' becomes His glory... and He is worthy of praise to entrust us with His work here on earth.

Thank you for journeying alongside us, we felt you interceding and lifting us up to our King as we ventured into each day. Please continue to pray over the people of the Dominican Republic, as well as those in our own neighborhoods and 'villages' that are in need of Jesus and His hope.

We love each one of you and praise the Lord that He sustained us with your prayers, love and support as we were sharpened and encouraged by His eternal perspective and our daily calling to serve Him alone with grateful hearts. There continues to be opportunities to give to Crossroads and the villages of Hatian refugees at www.dominicancrossroads.com if you feel led.

Rachel and I love each one of you and sincerely thank you for all the creative and heartfelt ways you encouraged and supported us on our adventure of God's Kindgom. Glory to God in the Highest!

Blessings in Christ,

Pam and Rachel Cashion - Psalm 52:8-9
