The Women's Fall Retreat is returning this year to the Aldersgate Retreat & Cultural Center, October 12th-14th.

Come relax and rejuvenate up in the Pacific Palisades at an historic estate. Enjoy the beautiful quaint chapel and lovely garden as well as being just a hike away from the beach, mountains and lovely views. Take time away from your non-stop busy schedule and come and fellowship with other women from Grace. We will be led by Kathleen Doyle through a weekend of Gratitude in all the Blessings Christ has given us as we are ushered into His Presence.

Check in will begin at 4:00pm on Friday and the check out time will be 2:00pm on Sunday.

This was the second lesson in our study on Isaiah, and this week our students discussed prophecies found in Isaiah 9. In this chapter, Isaiah talks about the hope that the coming Messiah would bring to people, along with some of the names the Messiah would be known by, including Wonderful Counselor and Prince of Peace.

Pardon our dust, open trenches and backhoes! With our main building's exterior renovation now in full swing, you’ll be seeing the following happen over the next month:

• New concrete parking area entries, curbs and sidewalks will be completed.
• Asphalt repair and patching will follow the concrete work
• All the exterior walls of the main building will be re-finished with a smooth coat of lath and plaster.
• Once the plaster is complete, the roof tile will be installed followed by new roof gutters and downspouts.
• New landscaping will follow on the front and sides of the building

While the exterior renovation continues, the building's interior improvement plans will be submitted this week (July 9th) to the City of Costa Mesa for their review and comments. We expect the City to take about a month to fully approve the interior plans, and we should be underway on the interior improvements during the month of August.
