We are nearing the end of our six-lesson look at the book of Psalms, and in this week’s lesson, we focused on the idea of living God-honoring lives. We were challenged to consider are environment and the influences to see if people are leading us down a path that goes against God’s desires for our lives.
We have finished our fourth lesson in our six-lesson look at the book of Psalms. This week’s lesson featured a time of serious conversation by taking a look at what we do when we feel like God is far away from us or when it seems like God isn’t answering our prayers. We challenged ourselves to trust in God’s presence based on his past interaction in our lives and his promises to care and provide for us.

No...that wasn't a tornado that hit our building! The building exterior improvement and seismic safety upgrade plans were finally approved by the City of Costa Mesa on May 24th. A few days later, all our roof tiles and most of the landscaping were removed by the general contractor as they are now officially underway on renovating the exterior of our building. Over the next two months or so, you'll be seeing the following things happen:
While all of the exterior improvements are underway, we'll be processing the approval of the interior improvement plans through the City of Costa Mesa. We hope to be starting on the interior improvements before the end of July and we're still projecting to have all the building improvements completed during the fall of this year.
